We are saddened to announce that John Trimble passed away today.

    He, along with his wife, Bjo, launched the grass-roots "Save Star Trek" campaign that resulted in a flood of letters being sent to NBC and a third season of Star Trek. 

    That third season allowed the series to go into syndication and kept Trek alive. It gained new fans, which eventually led to "Star Trek: The Motion Picture" and subsequent movies. They were strong supporters of Star Trek, the space program, and the SCA.
