WRITER OF THE MONTH

Task Force 23: Fenrir: Odin & Midway: Endy

Fenrir: Odin plays Doctor Astrid Nyx. They are a wonderfully talented writer who puts a lot of thought and effort into replying in both a characterful way, and in a manner that helps keep the post moving backwards and forwards. This can be seen this month in the Inspection post Astrid was involved in https://fenrir.sim-station.net/index.php/sim/viewpost/63

Midway: Lieutenant Commander Darrod Hanous - For continuously advancing storylines and adding brevity to developing plotlines aboard ship. Endy always produces quality tags and posts with all writers aboard the ship. During this mission seeing his character’s paranoia and strong feelings concerning his Orion heritage has been particularly compelling.

    Area 51: Astrea: Hebe/Cyn & Ontario: Howie

Astrea: Hebe/Cyn: She puts so much thought and detail into her contributions to the posts and has been the driving post behind the current side quest. Her character doesn’t always get along with everyone either, and it can make for great entertainment. You can see an example in our post of the month nomination.

Ontario: Howie. Our intrepid doctor doesn't want to be there and refuses to do anything that isn't strictly medical in nature. He's following regulations, but driving the rest of the team nuts in the process. He also seems to take pleasure in tormenting the counselor.

PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Task Force 23: Bellwether: Kat & DS5: Cynthia

Bellwether: Kat has been a big reason why Bellwether has been continuing on. It's a small sim, with a handful of writers (purposefully) but that means thinking outside of the box is needed. Kat has been an asset in running ideas by her.

DS5: Her character is not technically on board, but she's created an NPC to help wrap the mission. She also stepped into the XO spot when the former XO had to step down because of RL.

    Area 51: SB109: Austen & Concord: Ray

SB109: Austen remains a dedicated and crucial member of the sim as a whole. His ideas are consistently original, and his involvement with other players/characters has more than lived up to the sim's priority of inclusion and teamwork. His efforts this month in writing and morale are unmatched.

Concord: Ray – Ray has stepped into the role of First Officer both IC and OOC. He has helped with recruiting, helps with the nova, and just about anything else you ask him to help with. He is key to helping me keep Concord running.

POST OF THE MONTH

Task Force 23: Thunderbird & Calypso

Thunderbird: "Good Night Darlin'" (https://thunderbird.sim-station.net/index.php/sim/viewpost/91)

What makes this post interesting is that it's the beginning of the subplot involving the counselor and includes clues that will take the crew a bit to figure out.

Calypso: "Interrogating the Lost (Part II" (https://calypso.sim-station.net/index.php/sim/viewpost/2318)

    Area 51: Arcadia & Wolff

Arcadia: "The Things You'll Do For Love" (https://arcadia.sim-station.net/index.php/sim/viewlog/29)

Wolff: "Familiar faces and feelings" (https://www.usswolff.com/nova2/index.php/sim/viewpost/695)
